DriveDutch Score Explained
Understand how the DriveDutch Score works, including pass rates, location averages, exam volume, and retake patterns.

How the score works
First and second attempt pass rates: The score uses the percentage of students who pass on their first attempt and on later attempts.
Location average: A school receives a premium or penalty depending on how its pass rate compares with the average at that exam center.
Number of exams: We include exam volume so larger datasets get more stable weighting, with diminishing impact for each additional exam.
Retake patterns: If retake outcomes are much weaker than first-attempt outcomes, the score applies a soft penalty.
