Drive Dutch Score Explained
Understand how the Drive Dutch Score works, including pass rates, location averages, exam volume, and retake patterns.

How the score works
First and second attempt pass rates: The score uses the percentage of students who pass on their first attempt and on later attempts.
Location average: A school receives a premium or penalty depending on how its pass rate compares with the average at that exam center.
Number of exams: We include exam volume so larger datasets get more stable weighting, with diminishing impact for each additional exam.
Retake patterns: If retake outcomes are much weaker than first-attempt outcomes, the score applies a soft penalty.
